For over 20 years, my pictorial research has been motivated by a quest for a personal, free and authentic visual language, a true obsession. Zooming in on who I am essentially. Expressing what cannot be suppressed. On paper or on wood panels, screaming, laughing, shivering, observing, spying on the passage of time which leaves its imprint, as so many pebbles which continually remind me of the road I choose to travel to feel alive.
As a great admirer of the works by Dubuffet, Basquiat, Klee and Cy Twombly, I am energized by these artists who enable me to draw ever more deeply from my own freedom, without censorship or qualms.
