Antoni Clavé (1913-2005) is one of the great Printmakers of the last part of the Twentieth Century. Master of the Carborundum Method, technique invented by Henri Goetz in 1968, which we know here as the Collagraphy Method, the artist has pushed the technique of embossing to its maximum. The gallery offers a good selection of works permitting the appreciation of Clavé’s 40 years of printmaking.
