Heywood, Carl

Carl Heywood was born in Toronto in 1941 and studied at the Ontario College of Art. Expert in silk-screening, he is one of the few Canadian artists who master this particular technique of Printmaking. His “radiation cured prints” are spectacular.

Carl Heywood has had more than 75 solo exhibitions and more than 200 group exhibitions. His prints are part of the collections of the New York Metropolitan Museum, the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the National Gallery of Canada, and the Musée d’art moderne de Paris to name a few.

Carl Heywood lives and works in his studio in Montreal.
