About Galerie d’art Jean-Claude Bergeron
Founded in 1992, the Galerie d’art Jean-Claude Bergeron is located in downtown Ottawa in close proximity of the By-Ward Market and a step away from the National Gallery of Canada. It is situated in a heritage Victorian residence “La Maison Rochon”, named for one of the principal wood carvers of the nearby Notre-Dame Basilica.
Jean-Claude Bergeron, owner and artistic director, himself a professional artist has a vast experience in visual arts and a particular expertise in the field of printmaking (etching, lithography, silkscreen). He will be pleased to provide guidance in the purchase of original quality works, expert consulting services for the establishment and development of personal and corporate art collections and advice in the selection and visual presentation of distinctive corporate and diplomatic gifts.
Sorry, this entry is only available in Français.
The Galerie Jean-Claude Bergeron wishes to thank Galerie Montcalm of the City of Gatineau for its collaboration in the presentation of the exhibition: “The Trophy Room” by Marc Séguin, exhibition held from August 28 to October 5. Click here to see video of the exhibition.
Marc Séguin is a headhunter… “The Trophy Room” gathered some of his most interesting specimens. The works in the exhibition came in large part from the personal trophy room of collectors of the Outaouais/Ottawa region.
A catalogue reproducing all the works of the exhibition is available at our gallery and from ABC Art Books at the price of $35.
